Hello. I'm an old school Magic: The Gathering player, who has decided to return to Magic, after a 7 year absence. Expect to see posts about decks I build, FNM, and just my general feelings on MTG.
My first exposure to Magic was in elementary school when my fellow friends and I bought Portal cards as a passing fad waaaaay back in 1997. It was hilarious how we wore our silly newbie Magic cards like a badge of honor but none of us played the game! I briefly got back into Magic again and learned to play it for the first time at a comic book store during high school in 2003 and then again in college in 2006 or 2007. Do you remember when we took off the student lounge at MSU and played card games and video games all night? Those were the days! I don't think I played much Magic with you back then though. I am just starting to get back into Magic again after attending some Gamer Club meetings at MSU last year. I bought a whole bunch of cards from this one kid who got out of the game. I wished we lived closer so I could play with you :(!
